This furniture intends to intervene in the rhythm of the “Dulcinea” restaurant where it is intended to create a linear experience with a beginning and an end, as if it were a directed symphony.

Story

The musical stave or pattern is the place where notes and all other musical signs are written in the Western musical notation system. It is formed by five horizontal lines and four equidistant spaces or interlines that are listed from the bottom up. This furniture intends to intervene in the rhythm of the “Dulcinea” restaurant where it is intended to create a linear experience with a beginning and an end, as if it were a directed symphony.

 Process

The table that we have designed for this space is created from five 8 mm diameter steel rods, that form five essential stripes that is the base that supports the furniture and joined together by two 21 cm rods (one at each end). The table has some wooden planks where holes are found in order to introduce ceramic cones with churros. Another objective was to be able to design a functional table with few elements but that at the same time had a lot of meaning within the space remembering the shape of the churros.
